Blogging is a great hobby to express your thoughts, skills, feelings and basically everything that you can think of.
Now comes Facebook. While it is obviously gaining popularity over other Social Networking sites, we are also we are also adding a new verb to our vocabulary. "Facebooking" - it is an act of interacting with Friends, Family, Relatives through Facebook (or whatever).
well, going back to the title and the purpose of this post, I am actually trying to share with you how to filter out Facebook emails. And while we are treating Facebook next to our cellphones, we would expect bunch of daily emails populating our mailbox. This tutorial will teach you how to redirect all your incoming Facebook emails to a certain Folder.
Here are the steps:
1. We first have to create a folder named: Facebook. To create the folder, click on the "Add" folder link at the upper right side of your Yahoo mail menu.
2. A new window will pop-out. Type "Facebook" on the text box and then click OK.
3. The Facebook folder should now appear under your "My Folders" section.
4. Proceed to the upper right side of the window and click on "Options".
5. And then select "Mail Options".
6. You will be redirected to the "Mail Options" window. Click on "Filters" at the right side menu and then select "Create or edit filters".
7. A new window will pop-out. Click on the "Add" button.
8. On the filter name, type: Facebook. On the "From Header" section, select "contains" and then type: facebook on the text box. Go down to the "Move the message to:" and then select Facebook.
9. Click on the "Add Filter" button at the lower left side of the screen.
Your filter is now set. I have tested this to work. Any emails or notifications from Facebook will now be redirected to your Facebook folder.
